SJPD needs to be more open and public about how our peace officers conduct them selves in uniform while employed with public money, and stop sheltering the ones that are criminals in uniform. The people of San Jose have paid for high tech gadgets, (GPS tracking) that was intended to help provide better police services to the public. In the SJPD IA office a complaint has been on file for over a year that has not been resolved as of yet. Because they don't know which officers came to a house call. Why pay for GPS?
Some of the officers in the Internal Affairs (I.A.) office are unprofessional in the questions they ask. In the following statement is an example scenario similar to, but not an actual event that happened.
A knock and talk (illegal entry into a private dwelling with out a search warrant or property owners permission). A group of officers force entry into a home come and gang rape an individual residing in the dwelling. The victim files a complaint at the I.A. office. While being interviewed by an officer that has a job to investigate office misconduct, not proliferate it. The officer asks the individual that was raped a question they can't answer about other members of the dwelling and their sexual activities. "Do they have sex with lots of partners?" This is the type of question that the individual that was raped really can't answer because they would not be speaking for them selves. They would be speaking for some one else. SJPD should have the knowledge of the I.A. officer that conducts them self in this unprofessional manner while interviewing complainants. SJPD hides from and ignores their problems. They have yet to grow up and realize that they need to face their problems, because they will not go away. Just continue to get worse. It is unfortunate that a few bad officers make all the good ones look so bad. It’s time for the people to start policing our police, because they them selves are incapable of doing so.

  2. Yes, I agree with your ideas. I am an immigrant from VN. Then I believe that Police Officer who protect people and who present for law in US and bring peace to people. But from now, I thought some Police Officer who use their power in duty to force people and solve problem very very harmful for asian between white. I feel unhappy and unbelieve when contact some Police Officer.
I have seen some research that say more Police Officer have experience, then more complain about them.... Why? and how? that is you know.
I hope SJPD watching out all officer and cleaning their mind to help all people in peace and safety. Thanks for hear from me.
