FYI: this appears to be a long haired chichuahua that is well fed and sure looks like a family pet. You can find "found dog" flyers at www.sanjoseanimals.com that you can print out and post on phone polls, trees. Also, you can bring a photo of this little cutie to the shelter and register him as a lost dog. He will be posted on their 'lost dog' part of their web site with picture, where it was found. From my personal experience, if at all possible, tell them you will care for the dog at your home. Most shelters are over-crowded with chihuahuas and pitts. This way, the little chi won't be in a kennel next to large barking dogs, scared and subject to the tramas of shelter life. Like I had said, this is a family dog. Valerie firstname.lastname@example.org if I can help in any way. I already have 3 rescues and thats the county max but would be able to help post the dog to others in the business such as foster home people I know, etc.
He's not mine, but wow, is he cute!
