Big thanks to this morning's helpers!

It was a beautiful, crisp morning in the neighborhood, and a great crew came out to hang holiday decorations along our streets. Wreaths were hung on the historic light poles and garland was hung on the white gateway fences around the perimeter of the neighborhood. Many thanks to Bill, Lorraine, Karen, Dan, Pat, Stewart, Alison, Harvey, and Lila!

Help needed: neighborhood decorating

Please join your neighbors this Sunday, Nov. 28 at 9:00 am to help decorate the neighborhood for the holidays. We will be meeting in the Starbrite/Smokehouse parking lot on Delmas near Fuller.

Depending on volunteer numbers we will divide into groups to decorate the vintage light posts, Hummingbird Park, and the fences along Bird at the cross streets and at Willow and Delmas among other locations. It's fun and easy and it's a chance to get to know other neighbors.

The more people we have the less time it will take so bring friends and family and get a start on holiday festivities.

See you Sunday!

Reminder: no meeting tonight

Tonight's NWGNA meeting has been cancelled due to the upcoming holiday. Stay tuned for details about December events!

NWGNA is growing on Facebook

We are approaching our one-year anniversary of using Facebook to spread news and events in North Willow Glen and our number of interested folks has been steadily increasing. (Except for April 18, some sort of bug in their system that day!) We now have 131 friends.

If you have suggestions for how to improve the information that we are providing, please let us know. Let your local friends and neighbors know about us, too, so we can all help continue the great things that are happening in our neighborhood.
