High-speed rail meeting tonight

The Community Working Group for high-speed rail is meeting tonight, and are expected to talk about their business plan and may discuss plans for their preferred HSR route. Options for the route are at-grade through the neighborhood, an aerial route over Highways 87 and 280, or a tunnel.

We are excited to invite you to the first CWG meeting of 2018. It’s been a few months since our last session and we’re looking forward to updating you on the work that has taken place during that time. The following presentations will be given at the meeting along with Q&A:

• City of San Jose will share information on the City’s Generated Option

• Caltrains will provide an update on their Business Plan

• High Speed Rail will give an update on its recently-released Business Plan
